2928 CADETS ENGAGE WITH FIRST RESPONDERS
The 2928 Truro Army Cadets had the opportunity to participate in a valuable community engagement visit with the Truro Police Service and the Truro Fire Service.

During the visit, cadets toured both facilities and gained insight into the daily operations of each service. At the police station, they had the privilege of meeting the Police K9 unit and observing a demonstration of the handler’s commands, highlighting the discipline and training involved in K9 operations.
At the fire station, cadets learned about the fire apparatus, the specialized tools used in various emergency situations, and the protective suits and gear worn by firefighters. The hands-on experience provided meaningful insight into the responsibilities and professionalism of first responders.
The 2928 Truro Army Cadets sincerely appreciate both services for taking time out of their evening to share their knowledge and experiences with the cadets. Their commitment to community engagement and mentorship is truly valued.
